Lina’s art is about life, light and a good design. Over the past twenty years she has worked in a variety of media ranging from oils to crayon and stained glass. One of her favourites is acrylic paint on silk and using bee’s wax as a resist. Her formal art training is from Brandon University, and her work has been exhibited throughout Manitoba. She is a member of the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, and an ardent supporter of the local artists.
Today you can find some of her paintings exhibited in the Westoba Credit Union and MNP buildings. Some was commissioned by the federal government. Most of her work is in private collections. Her latest work is commissioned for, and could be viewed at, the Bowling Green in Wasagaming, Riding Mountain National Park.
